The Summer Art Exhibitions are, at present, held each year in Kirkcudbright Town Hall, which was adapted for this purpose in 2004 to provide additional security and better lighting. Kirkcudbright 2000 is justly proud of the quality of the exhibitions they have attracted to Kirkcudbright with the support of various sponsors.

"The Glasgow Boys at Kirkcudbright" is an exhibition expected to attract the interest of both visitors to previous exhibitions who wish to see more of their work in the landscape that inspired so many of them, along with those who are just beginning to appreciate the inspirational qualities of these great artists.
